    2. Tested in a 25° C (77° F) laboratory environment while recording 1080p/30fps video with EIS disabled and both screens off, and should be used for reference only.
    3. Tested in a -20° C (-4° F) laboratory environment while recording 1080p/30fps video with EIS disabled and both screens off, and should be used for reference only.
    4. In order to avoid damage, do not strike, crush, or drop this product.

Before use, close the battery compartment cover and the USB-C port cover, and tighten the Lens Protective Cover.It is recommended to install the waterproof case for long-duration underwater shooting or when shooting in environments with high pressure or water impacts. Osmo Action 3 and its Waterproof Case have an IP68 waterproof rating. Do not use the camera in hot springs or expose it to corrosive liquids.

    I got this specifically for mountain biking POV, and the stabilization is great if you know what you’re doing!Since I got it I’ve used it for that, snow adventures, long exposure photography, and even shooting a music video for a film club 😂Great all around portable wide angle camera!📸

    I've owned the Original Osmo Action ever since it was released and it became one of my favorite cameras to use. Like all DJI products, they aren't perfect out of the box, but with firmware updates, they only get better. I skipped on the OA2 because I didn't like the modular design, but when this one was announced, I pre-ordered it immediately.
    There's mixed reviews on YouTube about it and I can't speak for them, but I can speak on my own experiences using this camera.

    The not so good...
    So far, I can't switch between front and back screen while recording (this option became available on the original OA a few months after its release. The microphone doesn't pick up as well as the front mics when talking behind the camera. The last is lack of ability to mount an external mic to the camera, but there is a solution.

    The good...
    Maybe I was one of the lucky ones? But the picture quality is AMAZING! I love having the option to choose different fields of view, the zoom option is nice and much better low light performance. Being able to film 4k 120fps and 4k slow motion is great. Plus it never overheats and outlasts GoPro on both battery life and heat threshold. The build quality is excellent as well as the redesign of the battery door. The battery life is phenomenal! I can film in 4k at least twice as long as I can on my original OA. The front mics pick up sound well and I found a solution for an external mic mount. I just picked up a selfie stick / mini tripod which has a cold shoe mount on the side. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase.

    I did a lot of research before purchasing the DJI Action 3 and was very impressed with the reviews. I received my camera yesterday. Turns out my new Samsung XCover Pro is not compatible with the camera, so I was unable to unlock it, to upgrade firmware, etc. It should be clearly emphasized in the advertising that not all phones are compatible. The easiest way to check is to download the camera app software first. If your phone will not allow you to install it, do NOT order the camera. For example, I was able to install software from Insta360 and GoPro, so either should have worked. I will be ordering a GoPro Hero 11, and returning the DJI Inaction 3. Disappointing, to say the least.
    UPDATE (5-2-2023) I read on the DJI site that Samsung S10 is compatible with the camera. I bought a used one, but it is NOT compatible, either. Last thing I tried was my iPad and it worked correctly. Good to know: the iPad WORKS! Nonetheless, the entire unlocking and updating process is a real PITA.
    UPDATE: (6-26-2023) I’ve been using this camera very successfully, getting great movies, perfectly exposed, in focus, and motion stabilized. I started recording in 4K, but realized the size of the files was enormous, and was quickly filling up my hard drive. So, now I’m shooting in 2.7K, and very happy with the resolution and file size. It is extremely easy to offload the files into my computer by simply connecting in the USB-C cable and selecting the transfer option that pops up on the camera. Drag and drop the files onto the computer, and the can be edited and arranged in a movie. Right now, I’m using the iMovie app, since it’s included with my Mac. It’s a simple program, but adequate for my present needs.

    Holy cow! This thing is amazing. Upgraded from my GoPro 3, 4, and 6 which ALL overheat. With the reviews on GoPro 10-12 overheating no thanks. Hoping the reviews are true to form on this DJI not having overheating issues. Easy to use, feels like quality materials, fit and finish are top notch. If it overheats (under reasonable conditions, recording frame rate, not direct sunlight, dim screen, etc) I will change this review.

    I want this to be my go to camera, but I will be putting my DJI OSMO Action v1 back on my tripod along side my new Insta360
    Pros:
    Better heat management compared to DJI OSMO Action v1
    Better image quality
    Better sound

    Cons:
    Power/Quick Switch Button moved from top of camera to the side right above the USB C port
    - When using the DJI Wireless Mic receiver covers the power/quick switch button
    The DJI Wireless Mic Set Receiver module covers the Quick Switch Button making it difficult to use the user interface - should have left it on top like the original Action camera - JMO
    Voice commands do NOT work consistently
    Voice commands when they do work are slow to respond
    File naming convention is very difficult to understand
    Files disappear from the card
    - The files will be lost
    - Recently the first nine files were missing from my SD card the entire project was a complete loss
    - Completely unacceptable
    A great camera is worthless when files are lost. Keep trying. In the mean time, I purchased an Insta360 X3 and hope to have better results.
    Would I recommend this camera, NOT AT THIS TIME

    I purchased this in 2022 for my 3 month trip to the Philippines and just got back in 2023 - I used it everywhere taking pictures and videos. The quality being awesome, I have read others having issues with poor quality or micro sd cards being ruined - non here what so ever.

    Video's and pictures crisp and clear. Only issue I have had was when using in the water trying to swipe the screen from video modes or say to picture mode was not responsive allowing me to do. Dry I had no issues - but when wet not work so well for me.

    Otherwise I highly recommend.

    The videos I captured underwater is breathless along with pictures taken.

    Battery life awesome also but I did get the battery pack and that really works great!

    I highly recommend.

    Got this DJI camera to replace my GoPro. It's been a much better experience. The video quality is only slightly better IMHO and that could be debated but the rest of the experience is much better. It's more reliable, battery life is better, charges faster, menus and settings are easier to work with, the quick release mount is amazing and the overall design is better.

    On top of that the app is better and doesn't nag me to upgrade to a paid monthly subscription every time I use it like GoPro.

    At the discounted price it's also good value. I definitely recommend switching to DJI if you're on the fence about GoPro. You can still use all of your old GoPro mounts too if you have them. There's even a cage from Ulanzi that has GoPro style feet built in if you want to use both styles to mount your camera.
