Straight out of the package they are not soft at all. They will require a wash with a fabric softener. I got exactly what I was expecting. Size is perfect along with thickness. I will be posting another review as soon as our dryer comes in the mail that we also ordered from Amazon lol. I will let you all know whether or not they hold up or bleed.

I didn't think I would be reviewing a towel but ratings are all over the place so here's my take. They are a big enough size for myself (6' foot tall guy) and very absorbent. My old towels refused to smell fresh after a wash, these ones smell great after a wash. Not sure what else to say but they are reasonably priced and worth it. I recommend.
