waited a week to use it after arrival (as protective case was delayed). Delighted with how fast it charged. On adding charger for first time was at 75% already from factory i guess...and jumped quickly to fully charged in a few minutes. Used it for 2 hours, installing and transferring my iphone apps across (some manually as i dont pay for cloud extra data)....and battery only dropped 1% to 99%. Excellent feature that you can just hold iphone or other devices near it and they automatically sync your data across....saves much time. Purchased this for University-train trips to the city - reading my kindle books and literature for course - larger screen than my iphone and less scrolling to fit the page to the screen. My first time using today but will update reports as any interesting updates come to surface. Very delighted so far.

This is the first time I've ever purchased an Apple product. (It may be the last as well.)
I have been a satisfied customer of Android devices for years, both phones and previously, quality Nexus 7.2 and two 8" Samsung tablets, and one 10.5 s Galaxy Tab.
The only reason I purchased Apple was that it gives updates and security support for longer.
for longer and has a better screen resolution.. (Smaller Android Tablets are severely lacking in this respect. Android tablet makers need to lift their game.)
But...... As for ease of use, Apple is behind Android in my opinion, and I'm not a beginner in this respect.
I hate that the iPad mini 6 doesn't have a back button
I know they used to have one. Why get rid of a good thing?
There's no doubt, that the iPad mini 6 is a quality tablet, but there's a lot to be desired when it comes to ease of use. The layout is convoluted & infuriating.

Try and detach me from this thing, I dare you! This has brought me back to apple after a decade or more with android. The size combined with the screen real estate and to top it off the iphone 4 like design. I wish the jelly effect wasn't a thing but apparently that will be addressed in a future ipad with 120hz or something. But even though I know it's there (because of reviews) it doesn't bother me.

So I bought the apple pencil 2 for this and it's been great, though software side needs improving there but thats not the scope of this review.
